Full allotment inspections are undertaken four times a year during the growing season by members of the Inspection subcommittee. Each plot is inspected to see whether it is being adequately cultivated, using the criteria laid down in the Cultivation Policy. Plots that are considered to fall below the standards set out in the Cultivation Policy are re-inspected a month later. Plot holders who do not meet the standards laid down will be informed through a four stage procedure:

  1. Initial email asking whether there are any particular circumstances that the committee should be aware of (e.g. illness), and requesting a response with a plan
  2. Second email
  3. Third email
  4. Final eviction letter, sent by registered post

Members are encouraged to inform the secretary if they are having difficulty in keeping their allotment cultivated.
